Reston’s Asian restaurants gather in two places: Reston Town Center and the blocks just west of it on Sunset Hills Road (JINYA, PokeHub, Masti, Tiki Thai, Bombay Velvet), and the village centers, with Matsutake and Finn Thai at North Point and Pista House at Hunters Woods. Ariake is on Glade Drive and Bonchon is at Plaza America.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Reston census boundary (Reston is unincorporated, so it has no city limits), the same records that feed our local business directory. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 23, 2026. Bonchon was added from its own location page. Masti’s site did not open for us, so its listing in the Reston Town Center directory confirms it. Lakeside Asia Cafe in South Lakes is left off because its own site says it closed for good Sept. 30, and Hunan Cafe is left off because its web address now leads to an unrelated site. Lantern House and Mandarin could not be checked and are not listed. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. The places

Ariake Japanese. A Japanese restaurant on Glade Drive in south Reston, open for lunch and dinner every day. It takes reservations Monday to Thursday only, and last call is 15 minutes before closing.

Bombay Velvet. An Indian restaurant on Sunset Hills Road, in what it calls Reston Town Center West, with complimentary guest parking for up to three hours.

Bonchon. The Korean fried chicken chain’s restaurant at Plaza America, serving hand-battered chicken, Asian fusion dishes and sides.

Finn Thai. A Thai restaurant and bar in North Point Village Center. Its site did not show us its hours, so call before you go.

JINYA Ramen Bar. The ramen chain’s restaurant on Market Street at Reston Town Center, serving broths and noodles, with a daily happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m.

Masti. An Indian restaurant and bar on Discovery Street at Reston Town Center, which the center describes as serving modern takes on traditional Indian food and cocktails.

Matsutake Sushi and Sake Bar. A sushi bar in North Point Village Center that takes reservations for parties of five or more and offers order-ahead pickup, including at a drive-thru window.

Pista House Indian Cuisine. An Indian restaurant at Hunters Woods Village Center serving biryani, tandoori, curries and breads, with dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.

PokeHub. A build-your-own poke bowl counter on Market Street at Reston Town Center, with fish, rice and toppings, and online ordering for pickup.

Tiki Thai. A Southern Thai restaurant next to Reston Town Center with craft cocktails, a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. and the latest hours on this list.
